University of Cambridge

The University of Cambridge was founded in 1209, making it one of the oldest universities in the world. The University of Cambridge runs 31 self-governing colleges and also a few smaller institutions. University has a long list of distinguished alumni, including renowned scientists, writers, politicians, and Nobel laureates. Notable alumni include Sir Isaac Newton, Charles Darwin and Stephen Hawking.
The Computing Department at the University of Cambridge is officially known as the Department of Computer Science and Technology. The department is home to several research centers and groups, including the Artificial Intelligence Group, Systems Research Group, Programming, Logic, and Semantics Group, and the Security Group.
