Overview
The University of Oxford is one of the oldest universities in the world, with evidence of teaching dating back to 1096. The University of Oxford runs 39 self-governing colleges and 6 permanent private halls. Each college has its own internal organization and facilities. The University of Oxford has produced more Nobel Prize winners than any other university in the United Kingdom.
The Department of Computer Science at Oxford is one of the largest computer science departments in the United Kingdom. The Oxford Robotics Institute (ORI) is a research group within the Department of Computer Science. ORI focuses on robotics and autonomous systems research, including areas such as computer vision, machine learning, perception, and control.
