Overview
Seoul National University (SNU) was the first state university in the country. It was established in 1946. The university has a Korean Language Education Centre, and international students can learn Korean language there.
SNU has produced many notable alumni, including South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun and Nobel laureate Lee Jong-wook.
SNU’s Computer Science department is one of the first in South Korea to offer computer science course.
