Overview
Technical University of Munich (TUM) was founded in 1868 in Munich, Germany and is a public research university. It has multiple campuses across the city. It has seven schools, as well as five research institutes.
TUM School of Computation, Information, and Technology (CIT) has four departments - Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. Some notable alumni include Martin Hofmann, a computer scientist who has made some contributions programming languages and software engineering and Johannes Ballé, a researcher in the field of image processing and deep learning and has received several awards.
