Overview
University of Toronto (U of T) was founded in 1827 and is one of the oldest universities in Canada. The University of Toronto is well-known for its excellent programs; it consistently ranks among the top universities in the world.
U of T has one of the largest library systems in North America, with more than 44 libraries, such as Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library. This library holds a collection of rare books, manuscripts, and archives.
