My testing of TotalAV antivirus

I found that TotalAV is very user friendly. Its dashboard displays all the essential information regarding your device’s security. I also appreciated the variety of scan options it offers, including Smart, Quick, Custom, and Full scans.

During our in-house tests, TotalAV showed great results, detecting 103 out of 150 malware samples. During the ransomware test, it managed to detect 9 out of 10 malware samples during the quick scan, and 10 out of 10 samples during the full scan. I found Bitdefender's antivirus interface to be very user-friendly. It’s intuitive and all features neatly organized for easy access. The antivirus offers multiple scanning options, including Full, Quick, Vulnerability, and Custom scans.

In our in-house tests, Bitdefender delivered solid results, achieving a 97.5% malware detection rate. Its phishing protection also performed well, with a 95% success rate. My experience with Bitdefender VPN

My experience with Bitdefender VPN was mixed. While it’s included in the antivirus plans, the 200MB/day limit is unsustainable for those looking to protect their browsing on a daily basis. Despite some confusion around the plan options, the VPN itself is solid. It has decent global coverage, with over 3000 servers in 100 countries. NordVPN Threat Protection Pro offers 24/7 real-time protection, acting as an ad blocker, anti-tracker, and safeguard against malicious websites. I liked that the dashboard shows a 7-day summary of blocked threats. That said, it doesn't have full antivirus capabilities, such as malware scanning or a firewall. Instead, it serves as a first line of defense against online threats, essentially preventing malware from entering your system.
