Apple Podcasts is now available for a wider range of listeners.
Apple Podcasts, an audio streaming service that was launched in 2012, is now available on the web.
Podcasts web is available on Safari, Chrome, Edge, and Firefox, so more people can use the site even if they’re not Apple users.
The website looks the same as the app version, and users who are signed in can continue where they left off, regardless of their device.
Those who decide not to sign in to Apple Podcasts can use the service by finding suggestions in the catalog. However, they won't be able to see any personalized content.
With the Apple Podcasts webpage, users can also easily share what they’re listening to or uploading by simply sharing a link.
Apple Podcasts isn’t the only application that was “transformed” into a webpage. A month ago, the company also moved its Maps app to a website. However, the new accessibility alternative didn’t impress users.
