OnePlus 13 is expected to have a number of advancements, including brand-new screen technology.
Rumors have been spreading over the last couple of months that Chinese smartphone vendor OnePlus will announce its latest flagship around October. Last week, the company announced that on October 24th it will reveal OxygenOS 15, its Android 15-based operating system.
Now, the company has officially revealed that its latest flagship will be released on October 31 in China. Teaser video and visuals posted on social media show that the new flagship will be available in white, blue, and black colors.

The images also show that the smartphone maintains its familiar design with a quad-camera array arranged in a circle. However, there are some visual changes, such as the removal of the “hinges” part and the placement of an LED flashlight within the circle.
The most welcome updates to the smartphone, though, are expected to be related to its performance.
As the head of OnePlus China, Louis Lee, previously confirmed, OnePlus 13 should be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which is yet to be officially announced. Qualcomm will unveil its latest system on a chip for smartphones at its Snapdragon Summit this week.
Rumors suggest that in addition to the new processor OnePlus 13 should come with a refreshed 6.8-inch 2K resolution display and a new feature that can adjust the refresh rate for different parts of the screen.
This would allow a higher refresh rate for a video and a smaller one for other parts, such as text, resulting in a better viewing experience and saved battery life.
However, the OnePlus 13's estimated capacity of 6,000 mAh should deliver quite a decent battery life without this technology.
In addition, the new smartphone is expected to come with 100W wired charging, which can charge a smartphone in under 30 minutes, and a 50W wireless charging option.
The OnePlus 13 is also rumored to come with 24 GB of RAM – or at least for the premium version – which would make it one of the few smartphones on the market with such specs.
