iOS18: the iPhone’s biggest update yet

A more customizable home screen is among the features people are speculating about for iOS18, Apple’s latest iPhone software update.

According to Mark Gurman, chief correspondent at Bloomberg, the update will allow phone users to move apps freely in the grid.

This way, iPhone holders will likely be able to create rows, columns, and blank spaces to suit their preferences.

Customization for the lock screen became available with the iOS16 release, so similar changes could also be made to the home screen.

While not many details about the new software are available, more information should be known after Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), which is held every year, with a more accurate date taking place around June.

During the conference, Apple should also share its take on AI and whether its functions will be included in the new production.

Apple revealed that the new software would be the biggest update ever for the iPhone.
