After sharing Google Messages' new features, Android has disclosed that RCS messaging might soon become available on iPhones.
Android has issued a webpage dedicated to Google Messages, sharing the advantages of RCS technology. Secured messaging, alerts and reminders, custom emojis, and fun design choices are just a few of them.
However, together with the announcement of these features, Google also revealed that Apple should support RCS starting this fall.
RCS, or Rich Communication Services, is seen as the upgraded version of text messaging, allowing users to send various types of media.
The note that Apple will support RCS in the fall of 2024 was briefly shown on the webpage, as noted by 9to5Google, but it can no longer be seen there.
This news only supports Apple's claims of adopting the services back in November, sharing that it should become available "next year."
