Nikon presents its newest superzoom lens, the Z 28-400mm

The NIKKOR Z 28-400mm f/4-8 VR is a zoom lens suitable for full-frame/FX-format mirrorless cameras. It's designed to work with a variety of different photography projects.

There are a number of specifications that make this lens special. “Superior portability and wide-angle to super-telephoto coverage” are just a couple of them.

According to Nikon, the NIKKOR Z 28-400mm f/4-8 VR is a “high-magnification zoom lens” with focal lengths ranging from 28mm to 400mm. Its zoom ratio is 14.2x, known to be the highest zoom ratio in its class.

The lens was created to be used in a variety of situations, not only those that require high-quality super zoom. The Z 28-400mm f/4-8 VR allows users to take incredible close-up pictures of items with its minimum focus distance of 0.2 m.

With up to 5.5 stop stabilization, the lens helps to avoid shaky and blurred pictures. Another convenient feature of the Nikon lens is that it weighs just 725g, making it the lightest lens in its class.
