Phone company Nothing calls on fans to create device redesign

The phone manufacturing company Nothing has asked its community to contribute to the creation of “the ultimate version of Phone (2a).”

Nothing posted the proposal on X (previously known as Twitter), sharing its “Community Edition Project,” in which anyone can be a part of the newly designed phone.

The four main areas of this project include hardware, wallpapers, packaging, and marketing campaigns.

The company said that they’re starting with hardware, where creators should look into material and color modifications. After each category has a winner, the winning designs will be used to create the Nothing Phone 2a Community Edition.

Anyone can try their chances, but only the four lucky winners will have the opportunity to work closely with the Nothing design team and make their ideas come to life.

Submissions to enter the project will be open until March 26th, 2024.
