Two Apple apps will be available on Philips's latest OLED TV models

Philips is collaborating with Apple to support their new TV models with AirPlay 2 and Apple Home.

The AirPlay 2 and Apple Home will be available on Philips’s OLED809, OLED909, and OLED959 models.

AirPlay 2 is an app that allows users to stream music, photos, and video from their Apple device to a TV.

Apple Home is a platform that works as a smart home accessories hub. As an integrated app on a TV, users can set various TV settings through the remote app found on their iPhone or iPad or by using Siri on all Apple devices.

The new OLED809, OLED909, and OLED959 ranges are also compatible with Chromecast and Google Home.

Philips OLED809 AND OLED909 should become available in the second quarter of 2024 and the OLED959 in the third quarter of 2024, according to tech blog FlatpanelsHD.
