The social media platform is working on the launch of its X TV app.
Elon Musk’s X wants to provide its users with more convenient ways to watch content.
It has come up with X TV, which is a “go-to companion for a high-quality, immersive entertainment experience on a larger screen,” said Linda Yaccarino, X (formerly Twitter) CEO, while also revealing what users should expect from the app.
The X TV app would allow users to see the most popular content and personalize their experience by organizing videos by subject. They can also find relevant videos faster with an enhanced video search.
The new application will also allow users to switch between devices while watching content and cast videos from a phone to a TV. The new application should become available for most smart TVs.
The company hasn’t yet confirmed the app’s release date.
