Musk, Bezos, and Zuck will attend Trump inauguration

New tech buddies Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg will be at the White House on January 20th to witness US President-elect Donald Trump sworn in as the 47th President of the US.

The trio will also have front-row seats at the ceremony, standing on the inaugural platform with Trump’s new Cabinet picks and other elected officials, according to NBC News, which first reported the story on Tuesday.

Zuckerberg, the CEO and founder of Meta, and Bezos, the chief executive of Amazon, each donated $1 million to Trump’s inauguration fund last month in a purported attempt to patch any frosty relations with the re-elected President.

The two have also been reported to have met with Trump at his Mar-A–Lago estate in Florida since his November 4th win.

X-owner Musk, already in a cozy relationship with Trump over the past year, has been appointed co-chair of DOGE, the newly created Department of Government Efficiency, making his attendance no surprise.

The CEO of Tesla and SpaceX also spent more than a quarter of a billion dollars of his own money to help Trump get elected in November.

It’s not clear if OpenAI founder and CEO Sam Altman, who also donated $1 million to the inauguration fund, will attend in unison with the tech bigwigs.

Neither of the world's top three richest men have commented on the invite.
