JumpCloud, a platform used by organizations to help manage user identities, devices, applications, and more, has revealed new AI features that organizations can use to “accelerate AI adoption.”
According to the company, its new AI-powered features “allow you to see, secure, and automate AI management in your organization,” rather than stigmatizing the use of AI.
Among the presented features is the capability to automatically detect the unauthorized use of shadow AI, also known as the unauthorized use of AI tools by employees, which increases the risk of data leaks, compliance violations, or security vulnerabilities.
The new AI capabilities would provide insights into “who is using what, where, and with what data risks,” the company says.
The AI could also help find crucial data faster, without having to navigate menus or filters, by using natural language.
Other AI capabilities also include what JumpCloud calls “zero trust for AI agents,” meaning that every interaction with AI agents is reliable, logged, and auditable.
To make repetitive everyday tasks done faster and easier, the company suggests leaving them to an AI assistant, who can be asked to handle these administrative tasks.
When it comes to time saving, JumpCloud also shares that users can now use an AI feature that “generates rapid, reliable script” instead of doing it manually.
The company also states that organizations can integrate its existing AI tools into the JumpCloud environment, eliminating the need to switch between platforms.
According to the information on packages that JumpCloud offers, the new AI features are included in its Platform Prime package.
While the company doesn’t announce the pricing, users are encouraged to try the suitable package free of charge for 30 days.
