Jensen Huang, CEO of AI chipmaker Nvidia, has reportedly been targeted by a Chinese spy who formed close ties with the company after doing business with Nvidia via the Singapore-based company MegaSpeed International.
In the past, Alice Huang (also known as Huang Le) has been accused of smuggling Nvidia chips into China, leading US officials to monitor her for some time.
MegaSpeed’s website still features a pop-up notification from December of 2025 claiming that an article written by Bloomberg was “misleading” and contained “incorrect insinuations” regarding illegal chip transfers.
As authorities continued to monitor the MegaSpeed executive, they discovered that Alice Huang, unrelated to Jensen Huang, had formed a close relationship with the Nvidia CEO, according to the New York Times.

The investigation concluded that Alice Huang was operating as a Chinese asset, suspected of funneling industry information to Beijing, said anonymous sources familiar with the matter.
An Nvidia spokesperson told the Times that its CEO liaises with a multitude of business executives and potential customers. The CEO also never freely shares sensitive information with potential clients.
US authorities are concerned about the relationship, given that Jensen Huang has developed ties with President Donald Trump in recent months.
