The alleged “mastermind” behind a service that could circumvent actions of social media platforms like Instagram, is being sued by Meta for violating its terms of service.
Idriss Qibaa, the “managing member of Unlocked,” is being sued by Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta for his service, “Unlocked4Life,” which he bragged about on Adam 22’s No Jumper podcast.
On the podcast, he described himself as a “professional when it comes to banning and unbanning Instagram accounts,” court documents read.
Qibaa also sold services that “artificially inflated” followers on Instagram and provided fake engagement services.

Not only was Qibaa unlocking banned Instagram accounts, but he was also out-rightly extorting valuable users by locking their accounts and forcing them to pay a fee to unlock them.
Adam 22 said that he’s talked to stars and popular creators who have told him that they’ve paid to get their social media accounts back “20 times over and over and over.”
“And I’m like, you realize what’s happening to you, right?” to which Qibaa responded, “You’re getting extorted.”
The scammer admitted that “he has over 200 people who pay him monthly to maintain access to their accounts, claiming he makes more than $600,000 a month.”
Meta sent Qibaa a cease and desist letter stating that he had been “offering services that interfere with the intended operation of Instagram.”
“Meta demands that you stop all actions in connection with this abuse,” the cease and desist reads.
The letter states that Meta has effectively banned Qibaa and deactivated all associated Facebook and Instagram accounts.
However, Meta alleges that Qibaa set up new accounts to continue with his scheme.
In the court documents found by Court Watch and first covered by 404 Media, there’s a picture of Idriss Qibaa from his @unlockedforlife OnlyFans account profile picture.
Court Watch indicated that Qibaa may have been identified via his OnlyFans profile, where he may have been continuing his banning and unbanning services.
