BMW inadvertently exposed parts of its 2027 model lineup when future vehicles briefly appeared in its US online shop.
The models were posted on BMW’s consumer-facing webshop and later taken down – but not before the listings were shared online.
The massive leak gives us a rough idea of what to expect from BMW for 2027. For example, the long-rumored M2 xDrive is coming, likely to resemble the M3 and M4 xDrive models. Although we don’t yet have many details, per current logic, the model is expected to be offered exclusively with an automatic transmission, according to Motor1, which first reported the story.
An M350 xDrive is listed in the 3 Series lineup, pointing to the next-generation 3 Series sedan. A new M350 performance model will likely replace the outgoing M340i xDrive.
BMW is also preparing electric models for its 2027 lineup, including i3 40 xDrive and i3 50 xDrive in the 3 Series portfolio, which are expected to be based on the "Neue Klasse" platform.
These cars are likely to be mechanically related to the iX3 crossover, set to go on sale this summer.
BMW will also introduce the first-ever iX4, available in two AWD grades: iX4 40 xDrive and iX4 50 xDrive.

In turn, the next-generation X5 SUV is expected to arrive in the coming months with both gasoline and electric variants. The lineup will also mark the arrival of an electric iX5 60 xDrive.
There is not much information about the refreshed 7 Series yet: the list doesn’t mention the current 760i V8 model, but there are reports of a new eight-cylinder M760 with M Performance badging, according to Motor1.
Both the Z4 and 8 Series are absent from the list, as these are close to retirement.
