Work-life balance is a hackneyed topic – well, that’s until now.
And that's because nearly 4 in 10 Gen Z workers say they want private spaces for hookups at work.
According to a survey of 2,000 respondents, many felt remote work has boosted their sex lives – and fear that returning to the office could kill the vibe.
But instead of resisting the shift, some are proposing a fix – making space for intimacy at work.
Sex, self-love, and office perks?
The study from EduBirdie revealed that Gen Z sees sex at work as part of holistic wellness, with 47% saying remote work improved their sex life.
A sizable 29% said a return to the office might just improve it too, as taboos around office romances could be a relic of the past.
And a whopping 38% want designated spaces for sex/self-pleasure at work – requesting a little privacy from the company for such activity could be considered reasonable, in a roundabout way.
The findings are in keeping with the idea that Gen Z cares highly about the vibe of a workplace.
A positive force is also felt when it comes to looks. When asked exactly why returning to the office would positively impact their sex life, 42% responded that they would feel more confident and attractive.
Maybe it’s more desirable than lounging around in PJs and UGGs at home.
