It also included an image of the alleged Fall 2026 magazine cover with Fuentes dressed in a navy striped suit jacket, standing in front of what appears to be a farmhouse.
The cover appeared on social media on September 7th, with users in the comments speculating whether the image was actually real. An investigation by NewsGuard revealed that the photo was generated by AI.
The image showing Fuentes is a fabricated version of the one the company shared on its website, featuring a model from Ralph Lauren’s spring 2025 campaign in the same background, wearing the same clothes.
Cybernews checked the current Ralph Lauren 2026 Fall magazine issue, which had a different theme and styling compared to the fabricated image and did not feature Fuentes.
Why fake a magazine cover?
The post sparked debate online, with some users questioning the post’s legitimacy.

However, another netizen appeared to have fallen for the fake, saying, “Finally, it's not a morbidly obese brown woman being shoved in our throats.”

Some comments were quick to point out that designer Ralph Lauren is of Jewish descent and Fuentes is known for his antisemitic views.
On his podcast, America First, Fuentes claimed Jews “have no place in Western civilization,” that the Holocaust was “exaggerated,” and that “Blacks need to be imprisoned.”
