Donald Trump has reaffirmed his promise of releasing the UFO files, as he welcomed the Artemis II astronauts to the Oval Office.. Meanwhile, more information has emerged regarding the “missing scientists” conspiracy theory.
President Trump has claimed that the so-called UFO files will be released “shortly,” referencing pilots who “saw things you wouldn’t believe.”
And as he’s sitting down in the Oval Office, at a press conference, alien disclosure feels like it’s getting closure, but questions of what and when are still unanswered.
Redditors were skeptical of the publicity created by the White House with one commenter sarcastically imitating: “We’ll talk about this again in 2050. Bye.”

in UFOs
One of the strengths of the UFO community on Reddit is when a domino sequence of opinion cuts through the noise. One Redditor exclaimed for example: “My attitude is, and will remain to be very skeptical of anyone who says they know exactly what “it” is.”
There seems to be little faith in politics to actually disclose anything significant, and perhaps it feels like breadcrumbs – being fed very little deliberately, bit by bit.
Not a “nothingburger”
Former Department of Defense and UFO lobbyist Christopher Mellon disagrees however.
Even though the disclosure process has been dragging on for a while now, the activist told NewsNation that “it’s “not a nothingburger” and is “categorically a real thing,” adding that all technicians will have “an avalanche of materials” soon.
Mellon points to thousands of reports and captures since the second world war, giving the impression that full documented release will be soon upon us.
Again, mockery was at play on the socials with one commenter twisting his words into a kind of absurdist put-down, which came across as a bit of a tribute containing wordplay of “a blurry nothingburger footage, avalanche of blurred dot.”
Christopher the controller Mellon, will release approved blurry version again, a blurry nothingburger footage, avalanche of blurred dot, along with statement of adverserial threat, and amnesty for legacy people

Missing scientists update
And elsewhere, important distinctions were made this week, particularly by journalist Ross Coulthart, who helped debunk the idea that the growing list of missing individuals related to space engineering are indeed all scientists.
Coulthart pointed out the human tendency to draw patterns to seemingly connected events, even when they are actually disparate.
However, Republican Representative Tim Burchett sees it differently - this week he came out and murkied the atmosphere further by claiming: “either they want to squash our technology, or they’re warning others not to come forward”
Quite what he was talking about is still anyone's guess. The mystery deepens.
