The Cybernews team will attend IFA Berlin 2026 in September to discover the latest products and technologies shaping the future of tech. As part of our coverage, we want to recognize companies building products that solve real problems and bring fresh ideas to the market.
That’s why we’re launching the Cybernews Spotlight Award. This award recognizes products that stood out to our editorial team ahead of IFA Berlin 2026.
If you've launched a new product (or updated one since September 2025) and will showcase it in Berlin, we'd love to hear about it. Submissions are now open, giving you the chance to present your latest product to our editorial team for consideration.
What Spotlight Award will honor?
The Cybernews Spotlight Award honors products and services that make a real difference for users by focusing on innovation, security, and useful technology. Our editorial team will review entries in several categories, such as:
- Privacy
- Cybersecurity
- Enterprise Technology
- Artificial Intelligence
- Connected Devices
- Smart Home Security
- Data Protection
- Innovation

How to enter
If you want your product to be considered for a Cybernews Spotlight Award, just click the link below and follow the steps to submit.
Keep in mind that submitting your product does not guarantee an award. The Cybernews editorial team will review each entry independently, using the details and materials you provide. And only the most outstanding submissions will receive a Cybernews Spotlight Award.
What award winners get?
Winning a Spotlight Award means more than getting a trophy. It shows that the Cybernews editorial team sees your product’s strengths and potential.
If your product wins, it will be featured on the Cybernews website and our social media channels, helping to introduce your brand to a global audience of tech fans, cybersecurity experts, and industry leaders. Winners will also receive an official Cybernews Spotlight Award 2026 badge, which can be used for marketing purposes under a separate licensing agreement with the Award Organizer.
Entry requirements
To be considered for a Spotlight Award, please send us your completed nomination form by August 23, 2026. Before you start, check that your product meets the requirements listed below.
First, your product should be new or have had major updates since September 2025, and it will be shown at IFA Berlin 2026. It also needs to be available for sale when you send in your nomination.
After you submit your entry, we will review it using the details you provide, such as product descriptions, specs, images, videos, demos, and other materials. Our editorial team will choose the products that show the most innovation, quality, and value.
