With over a decade of experience in America’s #1 news market, Schappert began her journalism career in New York City, just a few months after September 11th, and has never looked back. She has worked in all facets of news production, from local to international, on location and in the control room, writing, editing and producing from behind the camera, as well as field producing and reporting.
