Best VPN for Roobet

Launched in 2014, Roobet casino soon became a popular choice among crypto enthusiasts who appreciate the possibility to gamble with BTC, Litecoin, and Ethereum. Unfortunately, it’s blocked in a huge number of countries, and many people are left with no choice but to use a VPN to be able to play there.

To help you access the site, we’ve compiled a list of the best Roobet VPNs. All of them offer great speeds, military-level security, and a vast selection of countries that include those that will let you unblock Roobet from wherever you are.

Top VPNs for Roobet:

  1. NordVPN – the best VPN for Roobet
  2. Surfshark – the best quality/price ratio
  3. IPVanish – fast connection speed for Roobet
  4. VyprVPN – great VPN for bypassing censorship
  5. CyberGhost VPN – the longest money-back guarantee

Roobet VPNs – our detailed list

To select the very best VPNs that work with Roobet, we tested more than 20 different VPN services. We picked only those that were able to help us deposit and play at the crypto casino.

Don’t forget to gamble responsibly.

1. NordVPN – fast and secure VPN for Roobet

NordVPN for Roobet casino
Based in:Panama
Servers/countries:5,500+ servers in 59 countries
Connections per subscription:6
Cryptocurrency payments:Yes

If you want to play at Roobet, getting NordVPN should be your top priority. That’s because this VPN service is the perfect tool to unblock this crypto casino: among other countries, it offers servers in Canada, Costa Rica, and Ireland, which are compatible with this gaming site.

Aside from that, it’s good to know that NordVPN will work on virtually any device you have. Whether you want to play slots and other games on your Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, or iOS device, you’ll be able to download the application you need.

With a single subscription, you’ll get six simultaneous connections, which means that you can use your NordVPN account on all of your devices. You also have the possibility to get all your money back if the VPN doesn’t meet your needs, as it offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. There’s also the option to pay with cryptocurrency, including BTC and Ethereum.

In addition, you’ll be really happy with the speeds of NordVPN. The service uses an in-house tunneling protocol called NordLynx, which is one of the fastest offerings in today’s VPN market. Lastly, NordVPN is among the most secure VPNs you can get, as it implements military-grade encryption, uses RAM-only servers, and boasts two independent audits of its no-logs policy.

  • Great speeds
  • Independently audited twice
  • No-logs policy
  • Reasonable pricing
  • Support torrenting
  • 7-day trial on mobile devices
  • Anonymous payment options
  • Unblocks Netflix
  • Dedicated IP option
  • 30-day money-back guarantee

  • No free trial on desktop devices
  • Email required on sign-up

2. Surfshark VPN – pay less and get more

Play at Roobet with Surfshark
Based in:British Virgin Islands
Connections per subscription:3200+ servers in 65 countries
Cryptocurrency payments:Yes

Surfshark is yet another top-tier VPN that will unblock Roobet without problems. It offers 3,200 servers across 65 countries, which include the ones needed for accessing Roobet casino (e.g. Ireland, Costa Rica, and Canada).

What I really like about Surfshark, though, is its generosity: every single subscription of this VPN offers unlimited simultaneous connections, which means that you’ll cover all of your and your family’s laptops and smartphones. The VPN has applications for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS devices.

You might also appreciate the fact that Surfshark lets you pay with cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin. But not only that – this VPN is actually one of the cheapest on the market, offering the price of $2.49 a month when you purchase its 2-year subscription.

When it comes to speed, Surfshark excels once again: its applications support the WireGuard tunneling protocol, which is considered one of the fastest protocols any VPN could offer. Surfshark’s no-log policy has also been independently audited, so there’s no risk to your privacy when using the service.

  • Great speed results
  • Independently audited
  • No-logs policy
  • Low prices
  • Support torrenting
  • Anonymous payment options
  • Unblocks Netflix
  • 30-day money-back guarantee

  • No free trial
  • Expensive monthly plan

3. IPVanish – one of the best lightweight VPNs

Based in:United States
Servers/countries:1,600+ servers in 52 countries
Connections per subscription:10
Cryptocurrency payments:No

If Roobet is unavailable in your country, IPVanish can provide all the necessary tools to access it. With a vast selection of countries, you won’t have difficulty finding a nearby server to connect to.

Whichever device you’re using, IPVanish will probably have an app for you. It works on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. You can also set up manual configuration on Linux or routers. IPvanish offers ten simultaneous connections, so there’s plenty of room to use on every gadget that you own.

Price-wise, this service is one of the cheapest. Their first-year deal offers huge discounts making it a value king in the VPN market. There’s even an opportunity to take advantage of their SugarSync deal to get encrypted cloud storage for your most important documents.

What also distinguishes IPVanish from the crowd is its feature suite. Whether you need split tunneling to direct which apps take advantage of VPN or SOCKS5 proxy, IPVanish has them both.

Lastly, this VPN doesn’t skimp on security. Your connection will be encrypted with a 256-bit AES military-grade cipher. No hacker will be able to barge in and check up on what you’ve been doing online.

  • DNS leak protection
  • Unblocks Netflix
  • 24/7 live chat support
  • Good P2P speeds
  • Free SOCKS5 proxy
  • Fast speeds
  • 30-day money-back guarantee

  • No Linux app
  • Price increases after a year

4. VyprVPN – access Roobet from any country

Based in:Switzerland
Servers/countries:700+ servers in 70 countries
Connections per subscription:5
Cryptocurrency payments:No

If you’re looking for a budget VPN for Roobet, you might settle down with VyprVPN. That’s because it not only unblocks this crypto casino, but also costs only $1.66 a month when buying a long-term subscription.

And the best thing – the small price doesn’t mean that VyprVPN is any worse than other best Roobet VPNs. For example, the service doesn’t fall behind in the speed department, as it supports the fast and furious WireGuard protocol, which ensures steady and secure traffic.

In terms of applications, VyprVPN works with Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS devices. The Linux client could be better, though. In any case, buying a subscription of VyprVPN will let you use the service on 5 devices at the same time.

VyprVPN also likes to spoil its users with a decent selection of features, which include public wifi protection, malicious site blocking, and split tunneling. It also works with Netflix and other streaming platforms, letting you watch a movie or two after you’re done playing at Roobet.

  • Inexpensive
  • Might work in China
  • Fast speeds
  • 24/7 live chat

  • Limited country selection
  • No free version
  • Limited non-Windows apps

5. CyberGhost VPN – great country selection

CyberGhost VPN
Based in:Romania
Servers/countries:6,100+ servers in 89 countries
Connections per subscription:7
Cryptocurrency payments:Yes

Want to play at Roobet? Well, then CyberGhost VPN will surely help you do that – and more. Equipped with 6,100+ servers in 89 countries, it offers a number of countries where the Roobet casino is legal.

Other than that, CyberGhost covers all sorts of devices including Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, and iOS. It also offers a couple of browser extensions.

When buying a 1-month subscription, you get 14 days to make up your mind about the VPN and get your money back. However, all the longer subscription options give you a 45-day money-back guarantee, which is the longest one on this list of the best VPNs for Roobet. There’s also a free trial version that lets you try out CyberGhost for one day.

The VPN also packs lots of useful features (like an ad-blocker and NoSPY servers) and is able to unblock quite a few streaming services like Netflix, Youtube, and BBC iPlayer. Oh, and you can also pay for any of its subscriptions with Bitcoin!

  • Long money-back guarantee
  • 1-day free trial
  • Lots of features
  • Unblocks Netflix

  • No independent audit
  • Inconsistent connection
  • Apps have some bugs

How we selected the best VPNs for Roobet

Selecting the best VPNs for Roobet was not such an easy task as you might think. Aside from unblocking the page, a VPN should meet a lot more criteria to be featured on our list. So, here’s how we selected the top Roobet VPN services:

  • Locations. All the VPNs on this page offer at least a couple of countries that work with Roobet casino (like Canada, Ireland, and Lithuania).
  • Logging. To be selected as a reputable VPN provider, the service must have a transparent logging policy. Most importantly, it mustn’t collect any activity logs.
  • Speed. If you want to play online games, including online casinos, your internet speed should be fast enough to let you react quickly. That’s why we selected the VPNs with fast tunneling protocols like WireGuard.
  • Customer support. As you set up your Roobet VPN, some questions might pop into your head if you’ve never used a VPN before. For this reason, we picked the services that offer quality customer support, be it a live chat or email tickets.
  • Price. Even if you have some money to spare, saving a few bucks thanks to an inexpensive VPN is always nice. Thus, most of our entries have really cheap subscription plans that won’t put a dent in your pocket.

Why do I need a VPN to play at Roobet?

It may seem a bit weird that you can’t play at Roobet casino even if you live in a country where online gambling is completely legal. Unfortunately, it all comes down to licensing, and Roobet is licensed by Curaçao.

And here’s the deal: none of the casino operators that have the Curaçao Gaming License are allowed to do their business in lots of major markets of the world, including Australia, the USA, Sweden, and the UK. In contrast, the license given by the UK Gambling Commision is much more lenient, allowing casinos to operate in virtually any country where real money gaming is legal.

Thus, if you live in a country where Curaçao casinos are banned, you need a VPN to be able to deposit money and withdraw your winnings at Roobet. Luckily, this website is not difficult to unblock, and many VPN services will be able to help you play slots, blackjack, roulette, and other games with your cryptocurrency.

However, aside from unblocking the page, a good VPN will have additional benefits. For example, it will make your connection much, much safer if you use public wifi. A VPN can also help you avoid bandwidth throttling, which can be a real pain in the *ss when playing online games.

Lastly, if you play at Roobet in a country that doesn’t allow gambling in general, you might want to hide this online activity from your ISP (Internet Service Provider). Luckily, a VPN will make your internet traffic unreadable to any ISP.

How to play Roobet in the US

Even though online gambling has been made legal in a lot of US states, the US as a country falls into the blacklist of Curaçao casinos. Fortunately, it’s really not that difficult to play at Roobet even if you live in the States. Here is how to play Roobet in the US:

  1. Download the VPN of your choice. We recommend NordVPN.
  2. Install the service onto your computer or phone
  3. Log into your account and connect to a country where Roobet is legal (i.e., Canada)
  4. Go to Roobet casino, create an account, and fill in the identity confirmation form
  5. Now, click on the Deposit button at the top middle of the screen (you can choose between Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin)

At this point, all you need to do is make a deposit and start playing! Keep in mind that after you deposit, your cryptocurrency will be displayed in dollars.

When you’re done playing, you’ll surely want to withdraw your winnings. To do that, you need to verify your email first. Afterwards, simply fill in the form of your preferred cryptocurrency – you’ll need to enter your Bitcoin, Ethereum, or Litecoin address, the amount you want to withdraw (the minimum is $10), and set the priority (low, minimum, high).

There’s also a transaction fee, which fluctuates depending on the state of the blockchain network. Currently, it’s $1.846 for BTC, $7.273 for Ethereum, and $0.008 for Litecoin.

As we’re already discussed, Roobet casino is unavailable in lots of regions. That’s why it’s crucial to know the exact countries where Roobet is not blocked – how else can you pick the right VPN location?

Roobet casino blocked message

Best VPN locations for Roobet

After some research, I discovered that Roobet casino is completely legal in Canada, Costa Rica, Lithuania, and Ireland – and the latter location unlocks all the games and providers.

You can also access Roobet from Germany, but it’s unclear whether it’s really legal, as Germany is one of the countries prohibited by the Curaçao license. In cases like this, it’s better to play on the safe side and pick one of the locations that are truly supported by Roobet.

Once you’ve connected to Roobet for the first time, I’d recommend you deposit a small amount of money, play for a bit, and try to withdraw – in this way, you’ll see whether the casino is truly tricked by your VPN. After all, the site prohibits VPN usage, and you don’t want to get your funds frozen as stated in the company’s ToS.

Roobet blocked regions

You might see the “Sorry, Roobet isn’t available in your region” message when connecting from a huge number of different countries.

For example, Roobet is absolutely restricted in Australia, Austria, Cyprus, the United Kingdom, the USA, Isle of Mann, Bonaire, Gibraltar, Guernsey, Aruba, Belize, France, Curaçao, the Netherlands, Saba, Statia, St. Maarten, Singapore, French Guiana, French Polynesia, Jersey, Luxembourg, Martinique, Reunion, Mayotte, Denmark, and any other jurisdiction not supported by the Central Government of Curaçao.

There are also a few partially restricted areas, from which Roobet requires KYC and AML 1 verification (these are just fancy words for customer identification, i.e. the casino may ask for your ID): Turkey, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, and Cuba.

Interestingly enough, Roobet casino has banned certain countries due to armed conflict or political unrest. These are as follows: Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Somalia, Kenya, Algeria, Burkina Faso, Libya, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Chad, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Central African Republic, Lebanon, Zimbabwe, Libya, and (of course) North Korea.

There are also lots of locations where the casino’s NetEnt games are blocked. Luckily, Roobet offers tons of other game providers (Pragmatic Play, Big Time Gaming, Elk Studios, etc.), so this isn’t a huge dealbreaker.

Does Roobet work with free VPN?

Even though it’s really tempting to play at Roobet with a free VPN, you might come across certain issues.

For example, the free (and unlimited) version of Atlas VPN only offers three locations: one in the Netherlands, and two in the United States. Unfortunately, none of these work with Roobet casino, as they fall into the category of absolutely restricted areas.

You might have more luck with Windscribe VPN because its free version offers servers in Canada. Alas, yet again we encounter a problem, as the VPN only gives you 10 GB of data a month, which might inconveniently end in the middle of your blackjack session.

The same goes with Hide.me VPN – it lets you connect to Canada but limits your monthly allowance to 10 GB.

You should also keep in mind that getting a free VPN might pose a risk or two. That’s because there are a lot of free services that might steal your personal data, bombard your browser with ads, or just slow down your computer in general. It’s much safer to just simply invest in a paid VPN – especially when you’re planning to use it to play real money games.

As crypto casinos are steadily gaining more and more popularity, it comes as no surprise that Roobet has become one of the fan-favorites. The possibility to play with three different crypto currencies, the vast selection of games (1,000+), and lots of bonuses make it a strong choice for both gaming professionals and novices alike.

That’s why the fact that it’s blocked in many countries is so disheartening. Luckily, a good VPN service (like NordVPN) will let you enjoy its vast selection of games without trouble.

Is it legal to use a VPN on Roobet?

Yes. If online gambling is allowed in your country, you can play at Roobet casino connected to the VPN of your choice. However, keep in mind that VPN usage goes against Roobet’s terms of use. If the site detects that you’re using a VPN, it might freeze your funds and ban your account altogether.

How to safely withdraw from Roobet using a VPN?

The process of withdrawing your funds from Roobet is the same, no matter if you use a VPN or not. On the other hand, you should check out the casino’s list of countries whose residents are required to verify their identity before doing so (these fall under Partially Restricted Areas). I advise against connecting to such a location when using a VPN to play at Roobet.

Can I use VPN on Roobet?

Yes. When set to the right country, a VPN will help you unblock Roobet. You’ll be able to deposit with your cryptocurrency, play games like blackjack and roulette, and withdraw your funds. With that said, using a VPN is against Roobet’s Terms of Service.

Can I be caught while using a VPN for Roobet?

Yes, but it’s not very likely. If you use a reputable VPN (like the ones featured on our list) – not really. A good VPN won’t leak your real IP address, thus not allowing the online gambling site to detect your real location.

  3. Make More says:

Hi, i want to start Roobet gambling but it’s illegal in my country and I’m planning to use vpn. However, I heard that in order to cash out you would have to submit docs verifying your identity. How does that work? Would that be a problem if I’m using a vpn and not in the actual country I’m playing. Thanks.

    • Rūta Rimkienė says:

Hi, thanks for the comment! On your VPN, choose a country that doesn’t require personal identification on Roobet, like Canada or Costa Rica. You shouldn’t have any problems cashing out then. Of course, at first, I’d start gambling with smaller sums just in case.

Is Roobet without vpn very dangerous? I didn’t know that you need VPN so I’ve gambled vpn free in the past week, used Coinbase for cash. had no warnings so far

    • Rūta Rimkienė says:

Hi! If Roobet Casino is available in your country, you don’t need to use a VPN – it’s not a dangerous website.

  5. Simons says:

I live in the US. Tried using Roobet with vpn (Nord), connected to Canada. Didn’t work. I’ve seen other people streaming Roobet and I know it should be working (as it does for everybody else). What am I missing?

    • Rūta Rimkienė says:

Hello, Simons! I’m sorry it didn’t work for you. However, I’ve just tried accessing Roobet with NordVPN Canada and it worked for me – maybe you should try connecting again? If that doesn’t work, try another country, like Ireland or Costa Rica. If the problem persists, just reply to this comment – I’ll try my best to help you out.

  6. Dided1933 says:

What about south american side? i really thought place like Argentina could be considered the best country for roobet, or Colombia, Chile, the list goes on. Three countries you’ve mentioned as the best ones to pick for playing sounds quite limiting to me, I was so sure there’s more. Don’t get me wrong, I trust your research, therefore maybe you could shed some light on how they performed if they didn’t make the list?

    • Rūta Rimkienė says:

Hello, thanks for your comment! I didn’t mention Colombia and Argentina because they are partially restricted areas. In other words, Roobet casino doesn’t accept any transactions from these countries before completing the KYC and AML 1 verification. As for Chile, online gambling hasn’t been legalized yet in this country (even though you can indeed access Roobet from it). There are plans to legalize it this year – when this happens, I’ll consider adding Chile to my list. I did find out, however, that you can safely use servers in Costa Rica to gamble at Roobet, so I’ll update the article accordingly.
