X users notice something pretty weird about Joe Biden’s latest holiday post

The former president of the United States just posted an Easter holiday photo that netizens can’t believe is real.

Joe Biden, the former president of the US, shared a holiday snap with his family. The photo, captioned “We wish everyone celebrating today a peaceful and joyful Easter,” was posted on April 20th, 2025.

While politicians and public figures posting family pictures on the holidays isn’t odd, netizens were quick to point out that something about the picture looked off, not with anyone else in the family, but with Biden himself.

“Another very normal holiday message from a former president. It’s just so…normal,” one user said rather sarcastically.

Another user called on X’s integrated artificial intelligence (AI) model, Grok, to help users understand what’s going on in the picture.

“Grok, is Joe Biden photoshopped into this picture?” the user asks.

In the image, he’s seen smiling and wearing his usual blue suit, but many users swear that Biden looks photoshopped into the family picture.

One user listed all the reasons why the image looks photoshopped. Firstly, the way Biden is lit doesn’t look natural. “His face and suit are too flat,” they said. Also, there are no deep shadows like anyone else in the picture.

X users called upon AI features to see if they could detect whether the photo had been manipulated using artificial intelligence.

BitMind Deep Fake Detection, a decentralized deepfake detection system, seems to think that there’s an almost 50/50 chance that this image was altered using AI.

Others commented on the post, which received 14.6 million views and almost 8,000 comments, saying that it’s the worst case of Photoshop they’ve ever seen.

Lebanese-American activist Brigitte Gabriel commented, saying, “This looks photoshopped.”

When Cybernews asked an AI model whether Biden had been photoshopped into the picture, the chatbot said that there were no clear signs that the image had been altered.

It’s unclear as to whether Biden was photoshopped into the image, but netizens agree that something just doesn’t look right.

However, Biden isn’t the only public figure to photoshop images of their family during a public holiday.

Famously, Catherine, Princess of Wales, and her three children “posed” for a photo posted on Mother's Day.

Yet, internet sleuths found various flaws that hinted at the fact that the image was altered.

Alongside the Princess of Wales, the Japanese government also admitted to editing its cabinet photo, the BBC reports.
