Camilla Araujo to depart OnlyFans after making $20M

Camilla Araujo, one of OnlyFans’ biggest creators, has announced her departure from the adult-only platform that will come into effect early next year. Where will this leave OnlyFans?

The self-proclaimed “bop” and former member of the “Bop House” has announced her departure from OnlyFans, citing a move onto something that will fulfill her purpose.

Araujo said via Instagram that she would not be leaving social media, but she will be leaving the adult-entertainment platform.

The OnlyFans creator has said she has outgrown the platform and wants to create content that everyone can enjoy, not just adults.

Whether or not this statement is related to the fact that Araujo was approached by two underage boys who knew her from OnlyFans is unclear, but the model has stated that she wants to transition into content creation and pursue something fulfilling.

Araujo has since made videos about her transition from OnlyFans to full-time content creation.

On a podcast, Araujo revealed that she makes roughly $2 million to $2.5 million a month. It's estimated that the OnlyFans star has made around $20 million throughout her five years on the platform.

Back in late November, Araujo posted to X that she was “kinda over” OnlyFans, after revealing that she had made $11 million between November 2024 and November 2025.

How will OnlyFans survive without Camilla Araujo?

While Araujo is one of the top creators on OnlyFans, it seems that the adult-entertainment platform will do just fine without her.

OnlyFans hit over $7 billion in revenue in 2024 and is expected to have achieved more when it comes to the 2025 stats.

As Keily Blair, CEO of OnlyFans, said on the Masters of Scale podcast at Web Summit in early December, the company has only 44 full-time employees, making its multi-billion-dollar revenue even more impressive.

This is attributed to the structure of the tech company, as OnlyFans doesn’t have middle management and claims to hire purposefully.

Blair told Jeff Berman of the Masters of Scale Podcast that it's a structural decision about how OnlyFans runs the business, as the company hires only “incredibly senior talent” and the “incredibly hungry” junior talent.

“We look for attitude and aptitude in hiring rather than experience, and we do not have that sort of squidgy layer of middle management in the middle. Because nobody’s had a really good middle manager in my experience,” Blair told Berman.
