Netflix will live stream BTS comeback after members complete military service

It’s official – the South Korean boy band BTS is back and fans around the world will be able to watch their first show in almost four years live on Netflix.
Global K-pop stars BTS will reunite for a concert at Seoul’s Gwanghwamun Square on March 21st to promote their fifth studio album, Arirang. The long-awaited album will be released a day before the show.
Audiences and fans will see RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook return to the stage for a live performance that will be streamed exclusively on Netflix in more than 190 countries.
Given the platform’s reach and BTS’s global popularity, the event could become one of the biggest live streams in Netflix’s history.
The show will start at 8 PM Korea time, meaning American fans will have to tune in early in the morning, with start times of 7 AM on the East Coast and 4 AM Pacific time. Fans will also be able to attend the show in Seoul and Netflix said it would share more details about tickets in the coming weeks.
The streaming giant will follow up the live show with a documentary about the making of the new album called BTS: THE RETURN, which follows the group in Los Angeles during the recording and promises “unprecedented access to the band as they enter a new era.”
The documentary is set to be released on March 27th.
BTS announced a scheduled hiatus in the summer of 2022 so that band members could complete their 18 months of mandatory South Korean military service, which they all completed by June last year.
The Netflix livestream will kick off the Arirang World Tour that will feature over 80 shows across the globe, including Asia, the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Australia.
