The search term “bimbofication” rocketed to the maximum level on Google Trends, revealing a deeper fixation on Bryon Noem, husband of former Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Kristi Noem, as well as memes galore.
“Bimboification” is a cult term that’s resurfaced to new heights after a dramatic surge, and on April 1st as well.
However, this wasn’t a joke: a single tabloid article triggered the old-fashioned fetishized term, ramping up from zero to peak in Google Trends.
The Daily Mail covered a story about Bryon Noem's secret life, revealing that Noem is keen on the curvaceous side of things. Also included in the aesthetic is a heavy amount of makeup, Botox injections for the lips and breasts, and skimpy clothing.
Bryon had been engaging in chats with three models, admitting a love for “big ridiculous boobs” somewhere among the hundreds of messages that The Daily Mail received.

Thrown into the mix is the fact that he spent over $25,000 on these ladies. Things escalated over time as Bryon harbored a desire to dress like a “bimbo” himself.
His wife, Kristi Noem, who was removed from her role of Secretary of DHS in early March by President Trump, is said to have been “blindsided” by the activity, reported The New York Post.

Blowing things out of proportion
As is often the case with such tantalizing celebrity fare, the memes were straight out of the blocks, most tellingly on the social media platform X.
One meme showed the Noem couple facing away from each other in bed, having secret thoughts, albeit with very different priorities from one another.
Another outrageous example was a South Park-style meme, with a split-screen showing Kristi dressed as an ICE officer, and Bryon dolled up to exaggerated levels.
The exact roots of “Bimboification” are unknown. In 2022, a women's health piece in wellness publication Modern Intimacy mentioned that the original derogatory “bimbo” term leveled at icons such as Marilyn Monroe, Pamela Anderson, or Paris Hilton was now being reclaimed by left-wing feminists.
The term “bimbo,” however, was first used in 1919 to describe “an unintelligent or brutish man, according to Wikipedia.
