Previously an overweight middle-aged average Joe, this Japanese YouTuber has transformed his physique over a three-year process, citing the anime show One Punch Man as his chief inspiration.
In the much-loved Japanese manga series One Punch Man, the main character, Saitama, reveals that he follows a strict daily fitness routine of 100 push-ups, sit-ups, and squats. And that’s not to mention the daily 10km (6.2 miles) run he does too.
Despite the routine being tongue-in-cheek on the show, a Japanese YouTuber has stepped up to the plate and says he completed the same workout every day for 3 years.
When he started the routine in April 2023, YouTuber Tasuke had visible belly fat, and now, after the consistent routine (without taking any time off), he has posted the results of his toned-up improvement.
According to the Japanese outlet Yutura, Tasuke collapsed a few times during workouts in his first year of the program, yet persisted regardless of the weather or his physical condition. Tasuke would get blisters on his toes, likely from competing in marathons, demonstrating that he went above and beyond.

Then, with the two-year milestone approaching in March 2025, Tasuke even caught Covid and was house-bound as a result. Despite this, he endured 10km walks at home, always finding a way.
Finally, in April this year, Tasuke posted a video documenting his success, sharing that he had run an ample 16,136 km (10,000 miles), tantamount to "the distance of traversing Japan from north to south four or five times."
With no temptation to call it a day, the influencer has divulged his intentions to keep going with the workouts, as long as he keeps receiving likes. And what’s more, he is even inviting suggestions for his own hero name, which, as it stands, is currently “Middle-aged Stray Trainee.”
Wouldn’t this work out routine absolutely destroy your body if you did do it every single day?

Upon posting the story on their X channel, Dexterto was awash with comments about the fitness sensation.
“Wouldn’t this workout routine absolutely destroy your body if you did it every single day?” asked one netizen.
“Yes…they would be destroying their body,” came one reply, while another disagreed, claiming, “Not really. Prisoners do them every day as well, and that's why their bodies are jacked.”
