cPanel brings AI to Website and Application Hosting Globally
cPanel, a WebPros company and global provider of hosting management software, announced the general availability of cPanel AI, bringing artificial intelligence into website and application creation, deployment, support and infrastructure operations.
The release begins a broader evolution of the hosting control panel. As AI changes who can create for the web and how quickly projects are built, cPanel is connecting those new creation paths with the environment where websites and applications are deployed, secured and managed.
The all-new Meridian UI provides the foundation for that experience. The redesigned interface organizes hosting around user goals such as Websites, Email, Files, Databases, Security and Performance. Its guided onboarding adapts to the hosting plan and is designed to help a new customer reach a working website or application in under 10 minutes.
AI-assisted creation is built into that workflow. Nova turns a conversation into a website or application and publishes it to the customer's cPanel server. Nova for WordPress creates native WordPress sites, while Sitejet AI gives customers a more hands-on, editable website-building path.
AI App Hosting provides a production path for supported Node.js applications. Users can bring projects created with external development and AI coding tools into production through cPanel. The broader ambition is to make cPanel a natural destination for applications emerging from a growing range of AI creation experiences.
The AI Assistant begins by answering cPanel questions, guiding common tasks and diagnosing issues from within Meridian. The longer-term direction is to evolve the assistant from guidance and diagnosis toward approved actions and more complex workflows, while keeping access under provider control.
Through MCP, cPanel creates a bridge between hosting infrastructure and compatible AI platforms. This gives hosting providers a governed foundation for AI-assisted workflows spanning individual customer accounts and entire hosting fleets, through the AI tools they already use.
