The company now supports more than 16,000 active customers across 191 countries, delivering backup, ransomware protection and disaster recovery solutions to organizations in healthcare, government, life sciences and technology sectors.
Advancing Platform Compatibility and Security
To address evolving IT demands, NAKIVO introduced NAKIVO Backup & Replication v11.2 on March 10, 2026, enhancing both compatibility and security across modern environments. The latest version delivers full support for VMware vSphere 9 and Proxmox VE 9.0, including version 9.1, allowing customers to confidently protect workloads running on current virtualization platforms.
New capabilities in v11.2 include: OAuth 2.0–based authentication for secure email notifications, real-time replication to accelerate disaster recovery, improvements to MSP Direct Connect for streamlined multi-tenant management and additional security updates designed to safeguard enterprise environments against emerging threats.
“Our priority is to give customers a smooth and secure path forward as their environments evolve,” said Bruce Talley, CEO of NAKIVO. “v11.2 demonstrates our continued focus on reliability, security and ease of use.”
Proven Operational Impact
Users report measurable performance improvements. “With previous backup tools, I could not recover full VMs, but with NAKIVO Backup & Replication, I can restore VMware VMs within 10 minutes. With data deduplication, we reduced storage space by 80%,” said Matt Mitchell, Web Developer at SEHD at the University of Colorado Denver.
Strong Revenue Growth and Global Expansion
The product launch coincides with solid financial performance. In Q4 2025, NAKIVO recorded 25% year-over-year revenue growth. EMEA contributed the largest share at 68%, followed by the Americas at 23% and APJ at 8%.
Enterprise adoption increased 19% during the quarter, while Synology NAS deployments grew 8%, signaling continued momentum among both large enterprises and SMBs. Additionally, 205 new partners joined the company’s ecosystem, further supporting demand for Backup as a Service and cloud-based data protection offerings.
Sustained Growth and Innovation
With its latest product release, global expansion and growing partner network, NAKIVO continues to set the standard in backup, ransomware protection and disaster recovery, helping organizations worldwide safeguard their most valuable asset: data.
