CrowdStrike has announced the return of its cybersecurity-themed commercial during the Super Bowl.
CrowdStrike is one the first cybersecurity company to advertise its services nationally during the Super Bowl.
The company is headquartered in the US, but its business is worldwide, with over 23,000 customers.
The commercial features the protagonist, Charlotte, as she battles through the American West, mitigating security breaches.
The commercial plays with ideas of transhumanism, robotic takeovers, holograms, and more futuristic elements, all placed in the iconic deserts of the Wild West.
CrowdStrike’s commercial is aptly named “The Future” but is set in the class American West, perhaps nodding to the idea that security risks will and have always been present in the US and around the world.
The parallels between the Wild West and the cybersecurity landscapes are apparent within this commercial, as the online landscape is often referred to as wild and lawless.
The commercial was directed by Tarsem Singh and produced by Redbird, CrowdStrike's new internal creative agency, alongside other industry leaders.
“The Future” will be broadcast during the two-minute warning in the first half, according to CrowdStrike.
