Together with the release of iOS 26, users can expect new features for the Messages app. It’s been reported that Apple is working on automatic translation for sent and received messages. It may also add polls to Messages, a feature that could be AI-powered. This feature would suggest a poll structure according to the context of the conversation.

The company could add animated album art to the Music app, which would be seen on the lock screen.

With the new Notes upgrade, users could soon be able to export their notes in Markdown, a feature that other third-party apps already have.

Apple is also bringing some UI changes to CarPlay. While it’s not yet known what exact modifications will be implemented, the company is working on making its interface match the new iOS 26 design, reports 9to5Mac.
