New Samsung smartphone now supports AirDrop from iPhone

Samsung has introduced a new feature to its latest smartphone lineup, promising to expand it to other phones in the future.
Samsung has finally released AirDrop support via Quick Share, allowing its users to share content with Apple users.
The feature will work on the Galaxy S26 series starting March 23rd in Korea, with later expansion to Europe, Hong Kong, Japan, Latin America, North America, Southeast Asia, and Taiwan.
The company launched the feature across its latest smartphone lineup, the Samsung Galaxy S26 series, and revealed that more models will include it in the near future.
The first to use AirDrop will be Samsung users in Korea, with the feature expanding in the US later this week.
Speculation about the sharing feature has been circulating for a while now. However, it isn’t the first Android-powered smartphone to include such a capability. Previously, Google announced that it had added AirDrop to its Pixel 10 phones.
To use the new Quick Share update, users should go to Settings, Connected devices, find Quick Share, and turn on the Share with Apple Devices toggle, reports IGN.
