Samsung has finally unveiled what new products will be available on its shelves.
During the Samsung Unpacked 2026 event, the company introduced the latest smartphone lineup, the Samsung Galaxy S26, and upgraded earbuds, the Samsung Buds4 and Buds4 Pro.
Samsung’s Galaxy S26 lineup: specifications
This year, the company released three new smartphones: the Samsung Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra.
All three new Samsung smartphones have the same design but differ in specifications.
When it comes to weight, the Galaxy S26 is lighter (167g) than last year’s model, while the Galaxy S26 Plus weighs the same as the Galaxy S25 Plus.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra, which weighs 214g, is now also lighter than its predecessor, the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
All three smartphones also boast different battery capacities: the Galaxy S26 Ultra features a 5,000 mAh battery, while the Galaxy S26 Plus has a 4,900 mAh battery.
Both the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus models are powered by the Exynos 2600 processor, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra comes with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
The new phones come in four different colors: cobalt purple, blue, white, and black.
Screen privacy exclusively on Galaxy S26 Ultra
The company previously announced an upcoming safety feature that blacks out parts of the user’s screen when viewed from the side.
YouTuber Sahil Karoul has already reviewed the feature after getting the new smartphone days before its official release.
The new screen privacy feature can be enabled and disabled at any time. Users can also decide which parts of the phone should be hidden, this way protecting their conversations, passwords, or separate apps.
However, the new privacy feature is available only on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Samsung’s Galaxy S26 smartphone's new camera features
The Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus feature a triple camera system, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra has a four-camera system with a 200MP wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens with 10x optical quality zoom.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra also includes an Advanced Professional Video (APV) codec, which maintains video quality even after multiple edits.
The upgraded camera in all three smartphones is also supposed to work better at night, thanks to advanced AP (Access Point) technology, reducing the “noise” caused by poor lighting conditions.
The new smartphone cameras also include a horizontal lock, a camera stabilization feature that prevents footage from being shaky or twisted during fast, sudden movements.
Galaxy AI-powered smartphone features
Samsung Galaxy smartphone users no longer need to have a separate app to use AI. Now it comes built into the smartphone, helping them with plans, editing, finding items online, and more.
One of the features now includes “Creative studio,” which allows users to edit images by writing a prompt of what needs to be changed. It can be used to create greetings, stickers, invites, or edit images.
Samsung also added the “Now Nudge” feature. For example, if a user is writing a text message about their plans, the device offers suggestions based on their calendar.
It can also be used to automatically add information during registration or booking, or to instantly share photos during an online conversation.
When it comes to finding information online, the company also released the “Circle to Search” feature, which helps to find whatever you’re interested in by simply circling the screen.
For instance, if a user sees an item they want to know more about in an image, they can circle that part and ask the AI to find where the item is from, look for similar products, or provide inspiration for the look.
With the Galaxy S26 smartphone, users can also find needed information with “Finder,” which searches the device and its apps to locate information related to users' flights, meetings, trainings, and more.
The new smartphones also make it easier to scan documents. The AI looks for unwanted elements, such as folded page ends, wrinkles, or shadows, and removes them.
Samsung Galaxy Buds4 series
The company also released two new earbuds, the Buds4 and Buds4 Pro. The series features an upgraded design with a metal-like finish and a sleek body.
The earbuds now come in a see-through case, so it's easier to check whether they're actually in it.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds4 series features an upgraded Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) that suppresses background noise based on the environment's noise level.
The adaptive EQ optimizes sound for the user, making it more accurate and tailored to their needs.
The new earbuds also include a feature for those who often find themselves with their hands full. The Galaxy Buds4 now respond to head movements, allowing users to answer or decline a call by nodding or shaking their heads.
