Elon Musk has declared that his AI model, Grok, is “maximally truth-seeking” despite generating overly flattering responses about its creator.
“Grok is maximally truth-seeking,” said Elon Musk in a post on his platform X.
The post was met with praise from X users, with many saying Grok is truthful and that Musk is “focused on protecting humanity.”
However, the AI model seems to be stroking its creator's ego by generating overly flattering responses to users' wild questions.
One X user prompted Grok to decide who has the best physique: Elon Musk, Donald Trump, or footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.
Grok called Musk’s build “lean and functional,” despite being body shamed by his own father as well as the media.
The flattery continues as another user asked Grok, “Who is more handsome? Elon Musk or Brad Pitt?”

While Pitt “embodies classic Hollywood charm,” Musk’s “world-altering ambitions” seemingly beat conventional aesthetics in Grok’s world.
“Handsomeness favours the visionary who reshapes reality over the silver screen,” Grok proclaims.
Grok even boasts that Musk would beat world-famous mixed martial artist Bruce Lee in a fight and “win the war beyond the battle.”
Many people took to X to show just how unfounded Grok’s claims about the tech billionaire are.
“Jesus fucking christ, Elon Musk lobotomized Grok,” said one user.
“Elon Musk has retrained Grok again. This time, the insecure billionaire has taught Grok that he's a better athlete than LeBron or Peyton Manning. Wonder how long it takes for the AI to adapt back to true facts this time,” said another user.
Musk posted on X regarding his “truth-seeking” AI model, saying that “Grok was unfortunately manipulated by adversarial prompting into saying absurdly positive things about me.”
“For the record, I am a fat retard,” Musk concludes.
