Apple may have just spoiled the new HBO Harry Potter series

Apple has potentially made a blunder after Reddit users found the set of the new Harry Potter HBO series on Apple Maps.
Reddit users were shocked to find that tech giant Apple may have just spoiled the set of the new Harry Potter series on HBO, as fans realized they could catch glimpses of famous locations on Apple Maps.
One user posted to the r/HarryPotterHBO subreddit to report their findings.
Just checked Leavesden Studios on Apple Maps, and this appears to be Gringotts. I haven’t really looked around at what else they’ve built because this stuck out immediately, and I wanted to post it,” said the user.

They also claimed that at the other end of the set is what appears to be Diagon Alley.
The series is being shot at Leavesden Studios in Hertfordshire, England, and the set is apparently clear to see via Apple Maps.
Cybernews searched the area on Apple Maps and found sets that may or may not be part of the wizarding world.
There appears to be a large house that could potentially be the home of a famous wizard family, along with streets and a massive structure with huge white columns.
Reddit users seem to think that the rickety structures show the magical shopping streets of Diagon Alley, and the large white columns around the entrance of a large building appear to be the goblin-run bank, Gringotts.
While Reddit users were quick to say this is the set of Harry Potter, multiple productions are being filmed at the same time, including House of the Dragon and Super Girl: Woman of Tomorrow, according to the Watford Observer.
Therefore, it's hard to determine which set is being used for which production, as we cannot know the exact time these images were captured.
There’s been a lot of speculation and criticism surrounding the new Harry Potter series.
Actors such as 28 Days Later star Cillian Murphy and Marvel alum Paul Bettany have dispelled rumours that they’ll play the role of Harry Potter’s arch nemesis, Voldemort.
Many have criticized HBO, which is owned by Warner Bros., over its decision to heavily involve controversial writer J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter books, in the production of the series, due to her views on the transgender community.
A HBO spokesperson told Variety that Rowling was “very, very involved in the process of selecting the writer and the director” for the series.
Rowling’s anti-trans agenda supposedly hasn’t “affected the casting or hiring of writers or production staff,” and the network said that the author has the “right to express her personal views.”
Harry Potter purists previously lost their minds over the casting choice for the divisive character Severus Snape, played by the late Alan Rickman in the original films.
British actor Paapa Essiedu has been cast as Professor Snape, and some fans have complained that this casting isn’t true to the original, as Snape is described in the novel as having sallow skin and greasy black hair.
HBO cites the Harry Potter reboot as “a faithful retelling” of the original, which ruffled the feathers of fans who suggest that Essiedu is simply a diversity hire despite his immersive acting background.
