FBI seizes popular Nintendo Switch piracy sites, Reddit users lament
The FBI has seized the popular Nintendo Switch piracy sites NSW2U and Game-2U, and Reddit users are devastated.
Users took to Reddit to lament the passing of some of their favourite pirated video game sites.
“Literally just used it last night too. Any other recommendations?” said one user.
“Rest in peace nsw2u, waiting for nsw2u2,” another user said.

When heading to both NSW2U and Game-2U, a notice from the FBI pops up saying that the websites have been seized.
The sites were famous for their database of pirated Read-Only Memory (ROM) games, which users could play on jailbroken Nintendo Switches or emulators.
NSW2U was first added to the European Union’s piracy watchlist earlier this year, as per Torrent Freak.
This seizure coincides with Nintendo’s attempt to curb piracy and stop people from jailbreaking their devices.
The Nintendo Switch 2 was recently released in June 2025 and soon became Nintendo’s best-selling product.
