Trump posts AI Obama arrest video, following “treasonous conspiracy” allegations

President Donald Trump is at it again, posting videos generated using artificial intelligence (AI) to his platform, Truth Social.

The current US president posted a divisive AI-generated video of Barack Obama being arrested by agents from the FBI.

The video begins with various US democrats who repeat the phrase, “No one is above the law.”

The clip then transitions to an image of Pepe the Frog, dressed as a clown, which is followed by a fictional meeting between a much younger-looking Trump and the former Democratic president.

Trump is seen grinning from ear to ear while Obama is being forced to his knees by FBI agents.

The video cuts to the former president sitting in a jail cell dressed in orange, looking very, very sad.

The video was posted to Trump’s Truth Social account without context or a caption.

The supposed context behind the post comes from a press release suggesting new evidence that the Obama administration conspired to undermine President Trump’s victory in 2016.

Tulsi Gabbard, the director of national intelligence, has called for the prosecution of Obama and previous senior US national security officials.

This comes after new evidence suggests that Obama and other officials “leaked false statements to media outlets” that claimed Russia attempted to interfere with the outcome of the election.

“This new assessment was based on information that was known by those involved to be manufactured,” the press release reads.

The information in question is the “Steele Dossier,” crafted by British intelligence analyst Christopher Steele.

Those involved allegedly knew this information wasn’t reliable, but still used it “as the basis for countless smears seeking to delegitimize President Trump’s victory.”

Gabbard called this a “treasonous conspiracy” which had one overarching goal, “to subvert the will of the American people and enact what was successfully a years-long coup with the objective of trying to usurp the president from fulfilling the mandate bestowed upon him by the American people.”

“Every person involved in this conspiracy must be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, to ensure nothing like this ever happens again,” Gabbard said.

However, many netizens are saying that this is another one of Trump’s deflections after outrage regarding the dismissed Epstein Files erupted last week.
