Interview with Andre Schindler on GITEX EUROPE 2025

Cybernews spoke with Andre Schindler, General Manager EMEA & SVP of Global Sales at NinjaOne, to understand what makes this event special and why IT professionals should attend.
What makes GITEX EUROPE 2025 such an important event for NinjaOne and the tech industry at large?
Andre Schindler: "IT and security teams are facing the highest expectations in the history of their roles. They must deliver anywhere, anytime business, world-class security, and efficient operations. Yet, both teams are also often poorly resourced. Having events like GITEX Europe 2025 that bring IT and security professionals together to provide mutual support, learning, and insights into the current landscape everyone in the space is dealing with is invaluable. Networking with peers, sharing experiences, and learning from one another provides an extension of support for those in the industry."
In an era of digital connectivity, do in-person events like GITEX still offer unique value? What might businesses miss if they only engage online?
Andre Schindler: "No matter how much experience someone has in their field, it's always possible to learn something new. In-person events like GITEX provide invaluable opportunities for networking with peers and absorbing new ideas, gaining insights into future trends and why they matter, and encouraging IT professionals and vendors alike to step out of the day-to-day, take stock, and assess their broader strategy."
What experience or value does NinjaOne want to deliver to attendees at its booth, and are there any key announcements or demos to expect?
Andre Schindler: "Our aim is always to help IT professionals understand how to simplify their work and become more productive, and that's exactly what we'll be focused on at our booth. We have a number of talks at our booth covering topics like managing risk and productivity in a BYOD world, building a patch management strategy that doesn't make your end users mad, and navigating NIS2 readiness. We'll also have demo stations set up with sneak peeks of the platform, and our team will be there to chat with anyone who would like to.
And it's not all serious stuff—we're adding fun with raffles, chances to win some cool prizes, and of course, NinjaOne swag."
Where do you see IT management heading in the next 3-5 years, and how is NinjaOne innovating to stay ahead of these trends?
Andre Schindler: "IT management is rapidly evolving toward greater automation, AI integration, and unified platform approaches. I anticipate that in the next 3-5 years, we'll likely see increased use of AI and machine learning for predictive maintenance, security threat detection, and automated remediation, as well as greater emphasis on mobile device management (MDM) as workforces remain distributed.
Furthermore, I'd expect there to be tighter integration between IT operations, security, and business processes, as well as more focus on automation to handle routine tasks and allow IT teams to focus on strategic initiatives. At NinjaOne, we're committed to staying ahead of industry needs while maintaining our core focus on making IT management simpler. We're continuing to innovate through developing AI-powered features like Patch Intelligence AI, providing robust MDM capabilities; introducing integrations with key security partners; and, overall, providing a unified automated endpoint management platform that automates the hardest parts of IT, delivering real-time visibility, security, and control over all endpoints."
