A fitness influencer set out to inspire his followers but instead got ripped to shreds by social media users.
“The morning routine that changed my life. 3:50 am to 9:30 am. Sin lives late at night… if you’re dealing with a weak mind, bad decisions, or lack of productivity, go to sleep early,” writes fitness influencer Ashton Hall.
Hall’s morning routine, which garnered 33 million views across TikTok and Instagram, isn’t for the faint of heart.
The online fitness coach claims to wake up at 3:50 am on the dot and starts his day out by taking off his mouth tape and brushing his teeth.
Seems normal – until 4:00 am rolls around, and he’s out on his balcony doing an unknown amount of pushups.
Hall is constantly drinking this blue bottle of Saratoga water, which costs $2.50 per bottle on Insta Cart.
If my calculations are correct, Hall wastes about $5 by dumping two bottles of Saratoga water into a bowl for his facial water plunge.
Then, it’s finally on to the workout, where Hall sprints for about 20 minutes, then he gets in the pool.
Now, netizens have found it particularly hilarious that Hall dives into the pool at 7:36 a.m. but only breaks the water at 7:40 a.m., meaning he hangs in mid-air for roughly four minutes.
After a quick dip and a spot of relaxation in the hot tub, Hall comes back to his apartment at 8:21 am for a shower, followed by a meeting and then breakfast. Oh, and let’s not forget another ice-water face bath.
However, what netizens were most confused about was the use of a banana peel to clean Hall’s face. Once the banana has been consumed, for health, of course, he rubs it all over his face. Surely this is rage bait?
Whatever the fitness influencer may have set out to inspire – either motivation or rage – netizens have taken to various social media platforms to mock the creator.
Internet personality Ross Smith created a parody with his “Gangster Granny,” where she mimics his daily routine.
She spends her morning lifting weights, smoking cigarettes, shooting guns, and doing ice-face baths in Tito’s vodka.
Even WWE star and sports drink co-founder Logan Paul took to Instagram to mock Hall.
Paul couldn’t do a video without shameless self-promotion, as he does Hall’s iconic facial plunge using his Prime sports drink.
The video sparked a range of reactions and Hall is very well aware of the joke. Mr. Beast even complained of missing his morning routine when Hall supposedly commented, “We all miss, just don’t miss twice in a row Jimmy. Get UP!”
