Actor Amber Heard has just welcomed twins, and the internet has created a wild conspiracy theory that tech billionaire Elon Musk is the father.
In a Mother’s Day post uploaded to Instagram, Amber Heard, actor and former wife of Johnny Depp, welcomed two twins, Agnes and Ocean, into the world.
The post, which has the comments turned off, said that Heard had “welcomed twins into the Heard gang.”
“This year I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family I’ve strived to build for years,” the actor wrote.
While the post seemed to get a lot of positive attention, despite Heard being disgraced from Hollywood following her domestic abuse trial with Depp, many users have started to spread rumours about the twins’ biological father.
One popular theory is that Heard’s ex-boyfriend, Tesla CEO and Trump advisor, Elon Musk, is the dad.
Users on Musk’s platform X began flooding the social media site with rumours regarding the latest additions to Heard’s family.
“Amber Heard gave birth to twins. Elon Musk is a dad again,” one user wrote.

Other X users ruminated on who the father could be, “Might it be Elon Musk? He and Heard are close, and we know he likes having children using IVF,” one user said.

Users said that Heard and Musk reportedly created embryos together while they were in a relationship.
The pair supposedly fought for the rights in court as Heard wanted to conceive using these embryos.
Cybernews previously reported that Musk offered to donate his sperm to help colonize Mars.
The story was brought to light by New York Times journalists, based on the testimony of five people with knowledge of the matter.
“Mr. Musk has volunteered his sperm to help seed a colony,” two people familiar with his comments said, The New York Times writes.
However, this has never been confirmed by Musk, who is often quite vocal on X.
