Desperate GTA 6 fan busted trying to break into Rockstar HQ
A German YouTuber was ushered away by police after trespassing into the lobby of Rockstar Games North studios in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Going by the name ÜberGaming, the content creator and his crew filmed themselves entering the building’s lobby before the authorities intervened and detained the two men.
The channel, which has over 25,000 subscribers on YouTube, intended to unearth some much-anticipated secrets about GTA 6, which is to be released on November 19th, 2026.
The clip has since been removed from social platforms, and the creator has reportedly been detained, but not arrested.
The reaction on the Reddit GTA 6 forum was largely disapproving, with one fan remarking, “I didn’t think someone could be so delusional about a videogame, to the point where one would break into the studio,” while another claimed it was "embarrassing."
A few days prior to the incident, the creator of ÜberGaming was filmed outside the office with his accomplice, asking for GTA6 to be released in Turkish.

There’s a recent tendency among overeager content creators to visit Rockstar HQ.
In 2025, one vlogger even accosted a staff member as he left the building following his shift, asking the employer about delays in the schedule and the possibility of another trailer. The employee was visibly startled and walked away.

Notably, the game developers at Rockstar are cagey about releasing game details to the public to prevent unwarranted leaks.
Their strategy is even reported to include “canary traps,” releasing different versions of sensitive documents or posting embellished rumors to deter users from zeroing in on patented or censored artistic information.
As fans await the game's fall release, one wonders what lengths the diehard fans will go to next.
