Claims that suspected CEO-killer Luigi Mangione recorded at least 20 “cinema-level” adult videos have been called out as false, with skeptics arguing that “the links would’ve been posted” by now.
Social media users challenged a report by Radar Online claiming that Mangione recorded multiple homemade sex tapes featuring professional lighting and “top camera work.” The gossip website based its claims on an anonymous source.
The source claimed that the 26-year-old made “at least 20 videos” of himself having sex before being arrested last year on charges of shooting dead UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
Mangione “wanted to be watched,” while the women in the videos “are too afraid to come forward or tell anyone for fear they might get dragged into his case somehow,” the source allegedly told Radar Online.
The original story was published on February 28th before it was picked up by major tabloids, including the Daily Mail and The Sun, this week.
As the story gained traction on social media after being reported by bigger outlets, many commenters were left wondering about its authenticity.
“The way I know this is false [is] because the links would’ve been posted,” one user said on X, a sentiment echoed by a number of other accounts.
Some feigned shock, with one trending post saying, “This is so disgusting and vile. Does anyone have a link to the site or sites where this is held so I can make sure to avoid it at all costs?”
They added, referring to Elon Musk’s platform by its former name: “Twitter accounts too just in case that evil has spread to here.”

A popular entertainment account, Buffy, reacted under the Daily Mail’s post, saying, “This is disgusting, please send the link so I can report it,” while another user described the lack of links as “disturbing.”

These comments are clearly tongue-in-cheek and caution should be exercised when opening any suspicious links, as they may pose cybersecurity risks. The ethical implications of seeking out sexually explicit material shared online without consent should also be considered.
Cybercriminals are also known to use deepfakes and impersonate celebrities to scam victims out of large amounts of money.
Reddit users suggested the claims of sex tapes may be nothing more than a smear attack against Mangione, who has been described as both “America’s most unseemly new sex symbol” and a “folk hero.” An unknown artist recently unveiled a mural depicting Mangione in London, England.

“Oh no. I'm sure the most lusted-over man in America is going to lose his appeal if the Daily Fail releases his ‘cinema style’ porn videos,” one Redditor said.
“Didn't this guy have back issues and his roommate said he couldn't have sex because of it?” they noted.
"Luigi Mangione sex tape bombshell". Oh no. I'm sure the most lusted over man in America is going to lose his appeal if the Daily Fail release his "cinema style" porn videos. Lol. Didn't this guy have back issues and his roommate said he couldn't have sex because of it?

The New York Times reported in December that Mangione suffered from back pains. This prevented him from dating and “being physically intimate,” according to his former roommate R.J. Martin.
Mangione pleaded not guilty on December 23rd to an 11-count indictment charging him with murder as an act of terrorism among other offenses. He will next appear in federal court on March 19th and then in New York state court on June 26th.
His public appearances cause a media frenzy and the suspect has a dedicated fan following. Just weeks ahead of his next court hearing, the Ivy League graduate received an anonymous $30,000 donation to his defense fund, its largest yet.
Mangione’s legal fund now stands at over $640,000. He could face the death penalty if found guilty.
