This MAGA makeup is all the rage on TikTok right now

Could you spot a MAGA supporter? Well, the internet believes it’s cracked the code as creators flood TikTok brandishing their MAGA-makeup hashtags.

In this viral TikTok trend, one creator and comedian, Suzanne Lambert, replicated a look common among Republican women, specifically MAGA supporters.

Those who earnestly support Donald Trump tend to have “enhanced” their features in a specific way.

The video uploaded to TikTok has more than 820,000 likes and 22,000 comments and has been saved over 30,000 times.

Lambert started the MAGA makeup trend that would later become a hashtag used across various social media platforms.

The former Republican breaks down the steps in her video “doing my makeup like the gorg MAGA girlies in my comments,” referring to the hate she receives from the MAGA crowd on TikTok.

Get the MAGA look

The typical MAGA look starts with absolutely no skincare. We want our faces to be preferably dry and crusty with no skin prep in sight, Lambert says in her TikTok video.

Now, foundation tone is a crucial step in this MAGA glam as we have to make sure that our foundation doesn’t match our natural skin tone and is, instead, much darker.

“They love a golden undertone” that never matches their natural skin, Lambert said in an interview with Glamour.

In her video, Lambert said that she wants a really matte and flat finish on her skin just to make it look “drained and dusty.”

Don’t blend the foundation into your hairline or down your neck if you want an authentic look.

Oh, and if you’re really going to commit, you need to avoid sunscreen at all times and make sure your chest and neck are ruby red – MAGA women are frequently sunburnt and “don’t believe in sunscreen,” Lambert told Glamour.

Then, you’ve got to really pack on a light concealer, preferably the whitest you have, on your undereyes so that it “settles into your fine lines,” the video instructs.

Make sure you rub it in so that you’re “smearing it” instead of patting it down, Lambert says in her TikTok.

Bold brows are the way to go. We’re not going for a subtle look. Make sure your eyebrows are blocky but thin, almost like “you’ve applied it in the dark.”

No contour, but add some blush low on your face. Think anti-Bella Hadid makeup. We want absolutely no lifting. Instead, we want a sunken-in “drooping” look.

Next, you need the whitest, brightest eyeshadow to make the distance between your bold eyebrows and your eyelid shorter.

Now, for a smokey eye, Lambert is seen dragging dark eyeshadow across her eyelid using her fingers. To complete the look, use heavy black eyeliner, making sure to line the top and the bottom.

“It doesn’t matter if it's straight, just as long as it's thick,” Lambert says in her TikTok video.

If people are questioning whether you’re awake, then you’ve done your eyeliner perfectly, she continues.

For your mascara, make sure you use your driest mascara for that clumping effect. Top tip: make sure to get some mascara on your eyelids.

Finally, you want a flat, nude lipstick, preferably the color of your now artificially golden skin tone, so your lips just blend in.

And the final touch is that you want to take a selfie where you're smiling with your top lip tucked under to show your teeth. Oh, and don’t forget that flower crown filter, ladies.

Gone viral

Other creators have taken to TikTok to bash MAGA’s makeup choices and try their hand at the trend.

One TikTok creator and makeup artist, Garette Hann, also recreated the look, adding a blond shaggy bob and a bold lip to give that middle-age MAGA flair.

Another creator who replicated the look gave some key points so you can get the MAGA look.

The TikTok creator says that it's “time to make myself orange” as she applies her foundation.

Then, engage in “blush blindness,” adding an ungodly amount of blush, dark eyeshadow, a lot of eyeliner, and thick brows.
