This TikToker seems to be on a mission to enrage Republicans with her “tours” to Alligator Alcatraz.
Comedian and viral TikTok sensation Lisandra Vazquez created “Terri’s Tourz,” a tour company that gives curious Americans a sneak peek into the US’s latest migrant detention center.
The detention center is affectionately named after the inhabitants of the Florida swamps, where the jail is located.
The website Terri’s Tourz offers a basic tour of Alligator Alcatraz for just $45.47 and a VIP tour that’ll cost you $4,500.
However, when you click on one of the packages, instead of a place to add your payment information or purchase the tickets, an old picture of President Donald Trump and infamous child predator Jeffrey Epstein flashes up.
When clicking on the VIP package, another picture of Epstein and Trump appears. There are also pictures of Trump, Epstein, and their partners Melania Trump, and Ghislaine Maxwell.
There’s also a picture of the current president with disgraced rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs.
As you’ve probably noticed by now, this website isn’t legitimately offering tours of Alligator Alcatraz. Instead it seems like a well devised piece of satire that’s out to upset the Trump administration.
The site explicitly states that it's “a satirical website created for entertainment purposes only.”
“This site is not affiliated with any real government agency, detention center, or political organization, and should not be interpreted as factual, promotional, or representative of actual events. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental (and hilarious),” the website reads.
But Vazquez isn’t just poking fun at the dystopian world we live in today. Instead, she’s actually trying to do some good while illuminating the “horrific happenings” in the US at this moment.
The website links directly to charities and non-profit organizations like Climate Power, Planned Parenthood, and World Central Kitchen.
