What is the Trisha Paytas baby conspiracy and why are Ozzy Osbourne fans furious?

The internet has been flooded with tributes to the late Ozzy Osbourne. However, one long-standing and creepily coincidental internet conspiracy has resurfaced after the rock legend's passing.

The “Prince of Darkness” and frontman of the English metal band Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, has passed away at the age of 76.

Osbourne’s family released an emotional statement that said, “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love.”

The internet soon became flooded with tributes to the late rockstar, ranging from devastated fans to heartbroken celebrities expressing their gratitude for Osbourne’s influence on rock music.

However, these heartfelt lamentations were soon interrupted by one creepily coincidental pop culture moment, the birth of Trisha Paytas’ third child.

Paytas is a YouTuber and internet personality known for her controversial sit-down videos where she claimed to have various mental health disorders and was accused of fetishizing minority groups.

After struggling with infertility, Paytas and her husband, Israeli artist Moses Hacmon, managed to conceive.

But the internet went crazy after Paytas revealed that her daughter, Malibu Barbie, was born shortly after Queen Elizabeth II died in September 2022.

This sparked a long standing internet conspiracy theory in which netizens believe that Paytas’ children are reincarnations of prominent world leaders.

Although Paytas welcomed her second daughter, Elvis, into the world in a less spectacular fashion in 2024, the internet conspiracy theory reached new heights when Pope Francis died in April 2025.

Paytas announced her third pregnancy, re-sparking the conspiracy, as many internet users believed that she was carrying the soul of the late pontiff.

However, this all changed after Paytas announced the birth of her son, Aquaman.

While the internet was certain that the birth of the YouTuber’s third child would coincide with the death of current US President Donald Trump, users were shocked at what came next.

On the same day Paytas gave birth, rock legend Ozzy Osbourne died, just weeks after his final performance with Black Sabbath in Birmingham, England.

Social media erupted with memes surrounding Osbourne’s supposed reincarnation, which understandably made his fans furious.

One post on X captioned, “Ozzy Osbourne waking up from his afternoon nap and seeing Trisha Paytas cradling him,” received almost 4 million views, nearly 300,000 likes, and over 200 comments.

Other memes follow the same format, stating that Osbourne was set to go to heaven, but instead woke up in Paytas’ hospital room.

“Trisha Paytas was supposed to take Trump, not Ozzy Osbourne,” another X user posted.

While people enjoyed resparking the conspiracy theory, many of Osbourne’s fans condemned the memes.

“Using Ozzy’s death for your shitty Trisha Paytas jokes just shows you don’t have any respect for him,” one user said.

Another user posted in all caps, “OZZY JUST PASSED AND YOURE TALKING ABOUT TRISHA PLEASE SHUT THE FUCK UP.!.!!.!!.!!!!!!!!”

“I'm gonna stay off Twitter for a lil bit. People making Ozzy Osbourne's death about Trisha Paytas is absolutely vile and disgusting. I'm gonna go listen to
