Gaming giant Atari has released a teaser product trailer of its handheld gaming system ‘Gamestation Go,’ before its anticipated unveiling at CES 2025.
After putting its previous Gamestation Portable handheld gaming device on hold in 2024, Atari has released a sneak peek of its reimagined handheld gaming console.
The Gamestation Go was announced by Atari and MyArcadeRetro’s X accounts via a new product trailer.

While some aspects of the handheld remain a mystery, some features are getting people very excited about it.
The console has a retro ball cursor called a Trak-ball, which is still used by many gamers.
The Gamestation Go also has a round wheel controller known as a paddle, a classic keypad, and shoulder buttons.
When playing certain games, these buttons and controllers will light up, signalling to the user that they should use that specific button for that game.
The Gamestation Go has a 7 inch screen and stereo sound. The console also includes HDMI ports for connecting it to your TV and a Micro SD port for firmware updates.
Media outlets like Forbes said that the console could potentially accommodate older Atari arcade games like Centipede, Breakout, and Star Raiders. But the absence of joysticks might rule out modern games.
However, an Atari representative said that new and old games like Centipede Recharge and other games from the Atari Recharge collection will feature on the device.
The price of the console is said to be $149.99 and Atari's Gamestation Go is planning to be released in the third quarter of 2025.
