Garmin announces Vívoactive 6 in four colors for €329

Garmin has introduced its Vívoactive 6, a smartwatch that features a brighter AMOLED display and a battery life of up to 11 days.

On the outside, the Vívoactive 6 looks exactly like its predecessor. The smartwatch is 0.2 millimeters thinner, and the housing is still made of glass fiber-reinforced polymer with an aluminum bezel. It also comes with a silicone watchband, suitable for wrists ranging from 125 to 190 millimeters.

The 1.2” AMOLED display has a resolution of 390 by 390 pixels and is protected by Corning’s third-generation Gorilla Glass. Garmin doesn’t mention the peak brightness of its newest smartwatch, but it does say that the screen is brighter than its predecessor.

Garmin has upgraded the smartwatch’s sleep functionality. The Smart Wake Alarm gently vibrates to wake you up at the right time during lighter sleep phases. In addition, the Vívoactive 6 features a built-in gyroscope to improve the accuracy of the pedometer.

Furthermore, the smartwatch constantly measures your heart rate, stress levels, and blood oxygen saturation. The watch also shows you many breathing and meditation exercises to help you deal with stress and anxiety. In the morning, you’ll receive a report that tells you all you need to know about your sleep, your body's recovery, and much more.
